What is Welcome to the Zoo?
Deep in the zoo, an animal is locked inside a mysterious sliding crate. You can't see it — but you can hear it. A wild sound bursts out, and your mission is to identify exactly which creature is making the noise before the next one arrives. It's a battle of the ears that turns everyday listening into an exciting detective game.
What makes it surprisingly challenging (and addictive for little ones) is how similar some animal sounds can feel at first. One wrong choice and the game reveals the truth with a fun animation or confirmation, helping kids sharpen their auditory skills while laughing along. Designed for Phonics Phase 1, it's all about environmental sounds, listening, and copying — wrapped in a bright zoo adventure.

Welcome to the Zoo Game Rules (The Catch / The Trap)
An animal is hidden in the crate. You MUST listen carefully to the sound it makes. Then choose the matching animal from four picture options. Click or tap your guess to lock it in. Correct answers celebrate with the real animal reveal; wrong guesses show the correct one so you learn instantly.
The trap? Some sounds are tricky and tempt you toward look-alike animals. You CAN imitate the sounds out loud to help decide. No time pressure — just pure listening power. Multiple rounds keep the zoo filling up with correctly identified creatures.
