YOUR GAME, YOUR BROWSER

Privacy, in plain words.

Updated October 22, 2026.

Daily Signal needs no account

The daily game, practice mode, and Echo Rush do not ask for a name, email address, or microphone access. Sounds are synthesized on your device. We do not record you or upload audio.

What stays on this device

We use localStorage to remember your current daily and practice sessions, submitted answers, used listens, unfinished code, daily results, sound check, and volume. Statistics and streaks are calculated from those local daily results. Game records use keys beginning with tonegame:signal:v1:.

Echo Rush saves its current pattern, input, hearts, score, chain, and personal records under tonegame:rush:v1:. It uses the same local volume setting. Rush results stay separate from daily scores and are not sent to a leaderboard or analytics.

These game records are not sent to a score server. Clearing this site's browser data removes them, and they do not sync between browsers or devices. If storage is blocked, the game shows a warning and can run for the current visit.

Requests and existing site services

Your browser requests the current UTC puzzle from our Cloudflare-hosted website. Hosting services process normal request information such as IP address, requested URL, and browser details to deliver and protect the site. Existing site analytics may measure page visits where configured. Daily Signal does not send your answers or local score history to analytics.

The site navigation includes optional sign-in and account features. These use the existing authentication service and session cookies; signing in does not sync your Daily Signal results. Favorites use separate browser storage and are unaffected by Daily Signal.

Daily Signal pages do not load advertising scripts. Game directory pages may include third-party games and advertising. Those services have their own privacy practices. See the site privacy policy for account, directory, and third-party services.

Sharing is your choice

Copying a result places only the displayed score, correctness pattern, daily date, and streak on your clipboard. Native sharing sends that text to the destination you choose. Saving an image creates it locally in your browser. No correct sound sequence is included.
