What is bandiz?

bandiz is a daily music guessing game built around one deliciously cruel idea: you do not get the whole song at once. Instead, the music arrives track by track, with instruments joining one after another until your brain finally screams, “I know this!”

The challenge is not just hearing a familiar melody. It is surviving the slow reveal. A guitar, drum pattern, bass line, piano part, or vocal entrance can completely change what you think the song is. Guess early and you feel like a genius. bandiz Game Rules (The Catch / The Trap)

bandiz asks you to guess the daily song using progressive audio layers instead of one simple clip.

Core flow:

Track 1 plays → Guess or continue

Track 2 joins → The song becomes clearer

Track 3 joins → The trap tightens

More layers → Easier recognition, lower bragging rights

The catch:

• You MUST identify the song from layered musical clues.
• Each new track adds more information, such as drums, guitar, bass, piano, or vocals.
• Guessing early is riskier, but more satisfying.
• Waiting gives you more sound, but less glory.
• The game can also test deeper music knowledge, including details like release year, album, or country of origin for a stronger score.

How To Play bandiz?

2. Make a guess or wait

   • Player Guesses: a song title that matches the sound.
   • Game Response: correct answer, or the next track joins.
   • What this means: your first instinct was either brilliant or bait.

3. Listen as the arrangement grows

   • Plays: 🥁 Drums + 🎸 Guitar + 🎹 Keys
   • Player checks: melody shape, chord movement, production style, and era.
   • Next clue: the song identity becomes more obvious, but the puzzle pressure rises.

4. Use the extra music knowledge round

   • Player Answers: release year, album, or country of origin when prompted.
